School Committee Memo

On March 6th, the Special Education Department presented a draft 25/26 Budget to SEPAC members. 


SSEPAC’s Budget Review Committee crafted a response that outlines key needs for the years to come. Join us in our advocacy! 


Key requests: 

- Create a budget process based on a long-term and holistic vision for our children with special needs. 

- Set defined targets for improved performance

- Provide equitable access to screening and associated support

- Provide staffing, professional development, and space to support fidelity and frequency of curriculum implementation
